Stunning green / yellow Uranium glass drop earrings.

These gorgeous earrings are made using vintage silver plate components with vintage Czech Uranium glass Firepolished crystals, Czech glass two tone leaf pendants and Czech glass cabochons.

Finished with silver plate ear hooks.

About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
