These gorgeous earrings are made using vintage silver plate components with a Aurora Borealis coated tear drop crystals with round and oval smaller crystals.
Finished with a silver plated ear wire.

The Uranium crystals used in this piece of jewellery are 'new, old stock' genuine vintage crystals and have a fantastic glow under UV lighting.
About Uranium Glass -
Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
