Stunning Sterling Silver Uranium glass round cut crystal ring.

A beautiful Sterling Silver ring, prong set with a large faceted 10.5mm round cut Uranium glass crystal in a round wave clear crystal halo surround.

The green crystal is a vintage Swarovski Element and glows intensely under a UV light. This is the largest round Uranium glass stone I have in stock and it is in very short supply.

About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
