Gorgeous yellow Uranium glass Firepolished crystal bead bracelet.

This bracelet has been beautifully made using vintage faceted crystal beads with a central yellow uranium oval glass bead.

Finished with a gold plated parrot clasp.

The yellow crystal beads are vintage and glow intensely under a UV light.

A fabulous bracelet of UV glowing crystals.

About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
