Stunning gold plated, oval pendant and chain.
This fabulous oval pendant has been made using a vintage gold plated pendant blank with vintage Swarovski Crystal elements set in a special crystal clay.
This is an absolutely beautiful super sparkling crystal pendant and is a one of a kind piece.
The peridot green crystals glow beautifully under UV light suggesting the presence of Uranium.
The metal and crystal components used to make this piece are ‘new’ vintage dead stock items, circa 1940’s - 1980’s.

About Uranium Glass -
Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
